Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of The Four Control Pillars ("the app", "the service"), operated by Ludosati, S.L. ("Ludosati", "we", "us") — see the Legal Notice for our company details. By creating an account you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Disclaimer.

Who can use the app

You must be at least 18 years old to use The Four Control Pillars. You confirm this at sign-up. The app is for your personal, non-commercial use.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. Because we cannot see your password, we cannot recover it for you — use the password-reset email if you are locked out. You may set an optional in-app passcode for privacy on a shared device; note this is a privacy screen, not encryption.

Purchase, price & access

  • The Four Control Pillars is a one-time purchase of €19.99 (about US$19.99) that unlocks the full program for life. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. The exact amount and currency for your location are shown at checkout before you pay.
  • Payment is handled by Paddle, acting as Merchant of Record — the legal seller for the transaction. Paddle processes your payment, handles applicable taxes (VAT / sales tax) and invoicing, and manages all card data; we never see your card details. Your contract for the sale is with Paddle; your contract for the service and content is with Ludosati under these Terms.

Right of withdrawal & refunds

The program is digital content supplied immediately. At checkout you expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that, by doing so, you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal that would otherwise apply to distance contracts (Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU; Art. 103.m of the Spanish consumer law, TRLGDCU). The purchase is therefore final and non-refundable once access is unlocked, except where mandatory law requires a remedy — for example, if the content is faulty or materially not as described. Refunds in those cases are handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record. Deleting your account ends your access and forfeits the purchase (no refund); access is not restored on a new account.

Service availability & closing the program

We aim to keep the service available, but we may change, suspend, or discontinue it. Closing the program — taking the app down — is separate from whether the company keeps operating: we may end the program even if Ludosati continues to exist. If we ever permanently close the program, we will provide everyone who bought lifetime access with the complete course as a downloadable PDF, because your purchase is for the course itself, not only for hosted access. By purchasing, you agree that providing this PDF is how your lifetime-access purchase is fulfilled in that event, in place of continued hosted access.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • share, resell, or redistribute the course content or your account;
  • attempt to bypass the paywall, copy the content in bulk, or reverse-engineer the app;
  • misuse the AI assistant or the support channels.

Educational content — not medical advice

All content is educational and is not medical advice. It is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional. See the Disclaimer for the full statement. If you have a medical condition or any concern, consult a doctor before starting.

The AI assistant

The optional in-app assistant is an automated AI system that provides general educational information only. It can be inaccurate and must not be relied on for medical or health decisions.

Intellectual property & your licence

The course content, text, images, and software are owned by Ludosati or its licensors and are protected by law. Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial licence to access the content within the app (and to download the PDF if we ever close, as above).

Your statutory rights

Nothing in these Terms affects your mandatory rights as a consumer, including the right to content that conforms to what was described (Directive (EU) 2019/770 and the Spanish TRLGDCU). If the content is faulty, you may be entitled to have it brought into conformity, or to a price reduction or refund, as provided by law.

Limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for outcomes arising from your use of the educational content. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for your mandatory consumer rights.

Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new "updated" date.

Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts. Where available, you may also use out-of-court dispute resolution through the Spanish consumer arbitration boards (Juntas Arbitrales de Consumo).
